Intensive Russian Attacks Cut Electricity Across Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased strikes in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while residents in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and encountered problems to water supplies, per reports from city officials.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was killed in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, based on information from regional authorities.

Moscow has escalated strikes on energy facilities over the past few days, while officials has called for "real steps" from allies to exert influence on Russia.

"The necessity is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the America, Europe and the major economies - in supplying air defence systems and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty rockets targeted the country's power systems, labeling such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were striving to fix the damage.

A series of attacks struck energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, according to local officials.
